A Trip to Mayaro 1

I remember going to Mayaro Beach and remember the days with my family when we would spend weekends away from the city. I missed the time with my mother who always packed sandwiches, a favorite of mine to this day. I missed the time with my father who would always bring a cooler for us and talk about how how his European culture influenced him which influenced me. My father taught me how to swim, although not at Mayaro. The water was too rough for that. Staying at rented houses on weekends we would enjoy the sea breezes. The whole family and myself and my brother. But times they have changed and now I can only relive these memories in my minds eye. This is enjoying the spirit of my time spent on Mayaro Beach, all those years ago.
