HOW MUCH DO NATIVEMIRROR CONTRIBUTORS (ARTIST/PHOTOGRAPHERS) EARN?

Your earnings depend upon the pricing and demand for your art or image. Our pay-out structure is outlined below.

SALE OF ORIGINAL ARTWORK  
A work produced by an artist's hand; this excludes mechanical or digital copies, prints, and other reproductions.
PRICING: The Artist determines the price for all pieces offered for sale.
COMMISSIONS: NativeMirror charges a Standard Commission of 30%. You receive 70% of the stated price.

SALE OF REPRODUCTIONS
Copy of an image made mechanically without involving the artist.
PRICING: The Artist/Photographer determines the Image Usage Fee per Reproduction sold. 100% of this Fee is received by the Artist. The cost of printing, framing, and all other costs incurred will need to be added to the final customer price for the Reproduction. 

There are two types of Reproductions Options from which Artists and Photographers can select.
1. LIMITED REPRODUCTIONS: The Artist determines the number of reproductions offered for sale within the range Minimum 10 to Maximum 850
2. UNLIMITED REPRODUCTIONS: An infinite number of reproductions may be sold.

DO I RETAIN THE RIGHTS TO MY ART OR IMAGE?
PHOTOGRAPHERS always retain ownership of their media and NativeMirror pays the photographer a fee to utilise their image.
ARTISTS may sell their original works but they still retain rights to sell Reproductions for which NativeMirror pays a usage fee.
Contributors always have the ability to personally remove your images / artwork from our site if desired.
NOTE: Contributor Pay-outs are made in Local Currencies at the prevailing Rate of Currency Exchange.

WHAT IS STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY?
Existing photography that can be used for print and web ads, in books and magazines, in news, on websites, in brochures and packaging, and in a large number of custom applications, according to the licensing terms to which the photographer and buyer have agreed. Using an image that already exists saves the purchaser the time and expense of a custom photo shoot.

WHAT IS A LIGHTBOX?
A Lightbox is used to store a group of images that you would like to eventually download or share with a colleague. You can place images into a Lightbox, and then later download the images, or send the Lightbox link to a friend/colleague for them to review. You are not obligated to download images in your lightbox, and it's entirely up to you how many lightboxes you have, or if you use the images later.
