Artist: Gillian Rooks

I am myself in nature and I am blessed to share the wondrous beauty of our twin island and all its inhabitants through my images.

It started with a humble pray and I was guided to work with the Living Water Community in their television and media department. I became so enthused with the process of creating videos and writing scripts, and I developed a keen eye for composition and visual arts ... there began my foray into photography and writing.

I've spent the last few years perfecting my craft, travelling, and engaging with photographers all over the World, particularly in the art of photographing birds in their natural habitat.

It is part of my calling to give back to my community and I love sharing my experience and talents with our youth. I have done several courses independently and with the University of Trinidad & Tobago (UTT) and hope to conduct more workshops in the coming year.

It is a privilege to share my work with you and I hope these images bring joy to you as it has brought to me in its creation.
